Patti Smith at the Palau
The Palau de la Musica is a big drawcard for visitors to Barcelona. I'd always associated this venue with classical music and definitely think the best way to appreciate the building is to attend a concert when you're visiting.Last night saw Patti Smith play to a full house - bringing the seated audience to its feet. A very memorable night - Patti Smith has redefined the meaning of young with a 2 hour performance full of positive energy.
As she sang..."People got the power" and the anti war movement of the 60´s and 70´s remains just as relevant today, as do all the other social themes on her agenda.
